Darling vintage 1950s/60s white cotton plissé slip dress with red ribbon details. Perfect for the Coquette / Dollette / Cottagecore aesthetic.
Fabric: Crisp white cotton with a "waffle" plissé texture (no stretch).
Details: Sheer mesh & eyelet lace V-neckline.
The Hem: The bottom ruffle has a hidden layer of stiff mesh lined in red satin ribbon that peeks through the fabric. There is a cute (but slightly bled) red bow at the skirt.
Straps: Adjustable ribbon straps with metal hardware.
Repair Needed: The left shoulder strap has come detached at the back (needs a quick stitch to re-attach).
Color Bleed: There is pink color bleeding/staining on the white fabric surrounding the red ribbon areas and bow due to the vintage red dye running during a wash. See photos.
Clean and crisp otherwise.
Sizing:
Tag says "Size 40" but fits like a modern Small to Medium.
