This is an authentic Wallace sterling silver liquor decanter label, engraved “GIN," originally designed to hang around the neck of a bottle for bar or dining table use.
The label features an ornate Rococo-style cartouche with raised scrollwork and a floral cluster at the base. The decoration is bold and symmetrical, typical of Wallace mid-20th-century silver production. The surface has a bright silver finish with natural vintage patina.
The reverse is clearly stamped “STERLING – W –," the known mark of Wallace Silversmiths. The attached chain and side rings are consistent with original bottle-label construction and are not a later jewelry conversion.
